The story of strong and feisty women.

Daniela (Yana Marinova) and her daughter Elena (Luiza Grigorova-Makariev) live in different time periods: society is changing, and each needs to find her place, and fight for her own rescue and right to be independent.

The film focuses on mental and physical violence, domestic strife and harassment at work, often concealed behind best intentions.

Confident and courageous women refuse to play the victim; one cannot change the past, yet one can choose what to take from it.

The two parallel storylines follow the twists of Daniela’s life in the past and her daughter Elena’s life in the present. These young women are in pursuit of their personal happiness, yet they face bias and prejudice and feel pressure to make free choices.

The film is based on true stories in the lives of Yana Marinova and her mother.
