Telling the story of the life and career of the much loved and admired Bulgarian actor, this documentary becomes a son’s quest to rediscover a father.

Apostol Karamitev was one of the most outstanding Bulgarian actors at Ivan Vazov  National Theatre in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. He gained immense popularity with his numerous roles in the cinema, as Radoslav in Favourite 13, Apostol from A Jack of All Trades, Aleksandrov in The White Room, etc.

In 2007, Apostol Karamitev was voted one of the 100 greatest Bulgarians ever in the TV show The Great Bulgarians. Dimitrovgrad ‘s theatre is named after the actor.
